Hello, I'm Amie Wright, a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist with 15 years of experience in the emergency department. I am also a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, practicing Forensic Nursing through the sexual assault domestic violence network. Beyond my professional background, I've faced personal and vicarious trauma. Yet, I've been a comforting presence for many, both as a professional and a fellow human being.My dedication extends to guiding those grappling with trauma towards well-being, and I'm committed to investing as much effort as they are willing to contribute. Additionally, I have a heartfelt desire to offer gentle support to families dealing with fetal or infant loss. For the past decade, my life's focus has been on supporting families through the grief process, honoring the presence of their smallest souls, inspired by my own experiences with the loss of my precious babies, Reuben (Stillborn) and Daisy (Neonatal Death).I am happily married to my wonderful husband Kyle and am blessed with three beautiful children. My life stands as a testament to the fact that one can not only survive trauma but also emerge with a confidence that comes from experience, knowing that even in moments of falling, there's strength to rise again.
